Below is an outline of what we offer.
Medical Coverage
CSCNH pays
for 95% of the cost of single coverage
through Harvard Pilgrim, available the
first of the month following 60 days of
employment. This benefit is offered to
employees who are in a budgeted position of
30 hours or more per week. Dependent
coverage is available through payroll
deductions.
Dental Coverage
CSCNH
offers coverage through Met Life Dental,
available the first of the month following
60 days of employment. This benefit is
offered to employees who are in budgeted
position of 30 hours or more per week.
Contributions for employee and dependent
coverage are made through payroll
deductions.
Life Insurance Coverage
Employees
in a budgeted position of 30 or more hours
per week are provided with a $20,000 term
life and accidental death insurance policy,
effective the first of the month following
60 days of employment
Short/Long Term Disability
CSCNH
offers an employer sponsored plan for
employees in a budgeted position of 30 or
more hours per week to provide income
protection for non-work related accidents or
illness, effective the first of the month
following 60 consecutive days of employment.
Retirement Savings Program
CSCNH
provides a 2% employer matched contribution
to a pre-tax payroll deduction for a 401(K)
program through TransAmerica. This benefit
is offered to employees who have completed
one year of service and have met the minimum
requirement for hours worked.
Paid Time Off
Employees
in a budgeted position of 20 hours or more
per week accrue earned time based on the
number of hours they are paid per week. For
example, an employee working 40 hours per
week will accrue 17 days annually to be used
for paid time off. Accrued time may be used
after three months of employment. In
addition, CSCNH also provides 10 paid
holidays to eligible employees. Earned time
is meant to be used for any paid time off,
e.g. vacation time, personal days, a
doctor’s appointment or illness, etc.
Other Benefits
You may
sign up for direct deposit and have your net
pay electronically transmitted to the bank
or other financial institution of your
choice for immediate availability on the
morning of each scheduled payroll date.
Workers
Compensation provides income protection for
on the job-related accidents. Also provides
for medical expenses related to the injury.
