Providing a
comfortable and nurturing work environment
for it's employees is very important here at
Community Services Council of NH. Below are
some testimonials from actual employees of
CSCNH.
"I came to work for CSCNH in
1996. I needed a steady job and CSCNH has
given me that security. Over the past six
years my life has gone through many changes
and CSCNH has stood by me, treated me with
respect, and helped me along the way. I have
had many jobs in my life and CSCNH is a very
good company to work for, thanks!"

"Why do I remain at CSCNH?
While this agency is, like all others in the
human service field, subject to the usual
stresses and strains, it has three very
compelling features: 1) in terms of energy,
commitment and knowledge, the Enhanced
Family Care Program is the best in the
state; 2) the Traumatic Brain Injury Program
is state-of-the-art and very clinician
friendly; and 3) the benefit plan is quite
generous!"

"CSCNH has given me the
opportunity to grow professionally over the
last six years. I began as a Residential
Advisor, promoted to Assistant Manager then
Program Manager and am now the Day Program
Manager of the Franklin Area. I feel a
commitment to both the staff and clients I
work with. The benefits are better than most
comparable agencies. The great benefit
package that CSCNH offers, coupled with the
support that I get from my Director and
co-workers is just icing on the cake!"

"I was initially hired by
CSCNH in May of 1983 to provide relief
support for three consumers living at one of
our residential homes. The transformation
started with training in how to deal with
the functional skills and giving medications
to the consumers. The Manager was very
accommodating, pleasant to work with and
flexible with regard to my schedule. Along
with new experiences including being an
advocate for a deaf consumer, came the
opportunity for advancement. As the
Residential Manager I was then responsible
for a program with four consumers before we
renovated and enlarged the residence. The
respite rooms became permanent and the
facility now accommodates six senior and
medically involved consumers. Years later I
was provided the opportunity to manage two
programs and yet still have involvement in
direct care so I jumped into action. Today
I'm still managing two programs with the
delight of having a great team of
professionals that provide the best quality
of care for each individual we serve. Our
team takes pride in our accomplishments
every day we serve the developmentally
disabled population!"
